Great Video

I like to watch one channel on my iPhone while my husband watches another. Now YT makes you watch the same channel. Why is that?

I will continue with YTTV, but I totally understand your issues. Thank you for your great content. I will continue to watch, learn and enjoy

youtube seems to have an incentive to be thrilled at bad traffic...the video is still there for people to watch but they have an excuse not to pay you 😕why should they be in any rush to fix it...

Great video as usual Michael. I too am considering dropping YTTV as my broadcast network needs are met using an antenna. The only cable network I watch fairly regularly is TCM. Quick question: is Max with ads the cheapest way to receive TCM? Thanks again for all you do.

Another way YT seems to be scamming creators.... I watch YT quite a bit.... I watch videos all the way through yet YT flags the videos as I "HAVE NOT" watched all the way through.

Google / youtube wants to pay creators less and it's using the "invalid traffic" as a smokescreen to do so. It's not right. I wish someone would hold these mega corporations accountable.

YT tv started at $35. Now there isn't value and Google is no longer the same company

I cut them because the price went up and kept losing channels. Now I am just using my air antenna for regular local channels than paying RUclipsTV. I like their DVR and Guide. But for the price, was not worth it anymore since they used to have SNY and no longer have it.

RUclips tv lets me DVR local channels.

I have been considering to cancel YT. I think the time has come.

I pay $50 dollars a month for Internet t mobile and $25 dollars a month for my channels. I bought a antenna for my local channels get like 80 channels on that free

Why does local tv apps dosent show regular shows like wheel of fortune or soap operas or anything like that like if you were watching cable TV

My parents switched to them because they wanted to save some money. They use T-Mobile towers in our area. But they are given a lower priority than T-Mobile users. T-Mobile works average at our house, but their Xfinity phones have very poor connection. They complained and Xfinity said they would contact T-Mobile to raise their priority level. It never worked. After many complaints it not got resolved.

I had YTTV for about two years started out very reasonable; but after three price increases in two years it was goodbye!

Good video. I paused my RUclips TV in April, and canceled a few days ago. The price for what I am watching was just too much. I don't really watch sports, so Philo was perfect for me. I am paying the additional $10 for additive content there and am still saving a lot of money. Further, Google as a company has turned me off in many ways. Massive layoffs, cancelling products that people came to rely on, and the nonsense they are pulling on creators shows me that they've lost interest in consumers. The lesson for me is to stick with companies who have products that speak to their core competencies, not companies who want to play in someone else's backyard and leave when they're bored.

Very interesting video. I am one of those that Comcast could give me free internet and TV and I wouldn't take it. While I understand your position (and thank you for being so transparent in the video) I, for now, will continue with RUclips TV. I have, however, linked your video and sent it to Google One that you need the decency of an actual, complete live reply. Live long and prosper.

RUclips sucks!

Now Internet is nothing but headaches. Don't sigh up. I had issues with live chat agents. I had replaced my modem. Live chat won't help activate the second modem. I'm done with Xfinity.

I'm beginning to think live streaming in general, is a waste of money.. We subscribe to Sling Blue because my wife is fond of a specific cable news channel that is available on it. But if I had my way, I would drop it completely. And do the free 'AD supported' versions really do ANYthing to differentiate themselves from each other? How many times can one watch "Fail Army' and old John Wayne Westerns before our collective jaws go slack? I don't follow sports and I am suspicious of news outlets in general. I am also suspicious of the Big Tech companies like Google and Microsoft. (I am a Microsoft Recall refugee recently moved to Linux). I feel like the whole thing has me trapped in some sort of real world, "The Truman Show". You are correct to stop giving Google any more money, your reasons are sound. Now, it is up to the rest of us to find reasons to stop as well.

Invalid traffic ? 18 months with NO resolution ? It is obvious they aren't going to do anything and that is disgusting. I got rid of my RUclips TV because it is waaaay too expensive. Last year I had RUclips TV plus the NFL Sunday Ticket. It was more expensive than the DirectTV days. They have become what they undercut and are just as expensive. I pay extra for RUclips with no ads because that is what I noticed I was watching more than anything. I won't be renewing my NFL Sunday Ticket or my RUclips TV.

I don't care for RUclips TV. I did try it out and canceled it.

I cancelled my subscription to RUclips TV today, I've heard Tyler the Antenna Guy complain about this for months. Content providers are being taken advantage of, sad.

What will keep me shackled to RUclipsTV is the fact that I watch daily local news programs on at least two local channels. MLB and Tubi satisfy the rest of my viewing "needs". I'm sorry to hear about the way you and other creators are being treated. I'm sure some of the subscribers to your channel would be happy to send some support $$. Let us know?
